Bank IFSC Code Detail Finder Tool
If you are in India and want to transfer money from one bank to another within the country, you can do it easily by just knowing the IFSC codes of both banks. IFSC stands for Indian Financial System Code and is required whether you are using RTGS, NEFT or CEMS, which are different payment systems developed by RBI. IFSC is an 11-digit code that reveals the name of the bank, the first four letters of this alphanumeric code. The fifth zero was retained to accommodate branch expansion. The last six characters in the code indicate the exact location of the bank. The IFSC code is even printed on the check books issued by all the banks and one can find out the IFSC code by looking at the check receipt.
